The Husband Tag

Okay, this is long overdue, but I wanted to give everyone a small glimpse of the life of my best friend.

1. Where did you meet?
We met my last semester at Snow College. He was in my ward and came to collect fast offerings. He likes to tell the Young Men that they better go collecting 'cause you never know who you might meet. :)

2. How long did you date before you were married?
Well, we only dated a couple of months before I went to Guatemala...then we started dating again when I got home. Total, we dated for about a year before we got married.

3. How long have you been married?
5 years already!! It will be six in August.

4. What does he do that surprises you?
He's a fantastic gift giver. I am always impressed with how thoughtful his gifts for me are. Also, I never pegged him to be such a cute dad with our girls. He'll read their girly books and play princess, and dance with them. I love that about him.

5. What is your favorite feature of his?
His smile. I love that he's a goofball!

6. What is your favorite quality of his?
His genuine love and concern for others and his love for the gospel.

7. Does he have a nickname for you?
Not unless you consider Jenny my nickname.

8. What is his favorite color?
Blue

9. What is his favorite food?
Chicken Parmesan from Olive Garden

10. What is his favorite sport?
To watch...college football, college basketball, and a little tennis.
To do...number one would definitely be skiing (telemark), but he loves to play tennis and basketball too. He loves hiking/backpacking too.

11. When and where was your first kiss?
Spring of 2002 in my apartment at Snow.

12. What do you like to do together?
Wow...it's changed a bit since we had kiddos, but we like watching movies, going on dates, and getting together with family and friends. Really, I don't care what we do. I just like spending time together.

13. Do you have any children?
2 girls and another on the way in 2 weeks.

14. Does he have a hidden talent?
He's good at a lot of things...but a hidden talent may be that he is very good at keeping a conversation going when there's awkward silence. He seems to be able to talk to anyone about anything.

15. Who said I love you first?
He did.

16. What is his favorite type of music?
No idea. He likes a lot of different stuff. Lately he really likes Coldplay and Dashboard and anything acoustic.

17. What do you admire most about him?
All I can say is that he's just a good person (see number 6). He's a much better person than I am. I just really got lucky. I'm glad he'll put up with me. :)

18. Do you think he will read this?
Yes, he likes looking at everyone's blogs as much as I do.
