Where does the time go?

Okay, I know it's been over a month, but it really feels like I updated my blog a week ago. That's just the way things go when you build a house. I wish it was still October! Not that I'm not excited for the holidays...just wanting to get in my new house before they end! :)

Our little bunny and fairy. Aren't they cute? I was so glad it was a warm night. They had a blast trick or treating (with their grandmas)! Addi just ate her candy as she got it. She wouldn't even wait until she got to the next house!

Best buddies. I am really going to miss this old couch! The girls love it to death. They take off the cushions and jump on it and well...use it for blankets too. Thanks for the old couch mom.

I just had to post a picture of my Super Saturday project. I was so proud of myself. Look how crafty I am!

We are having...

Another girl! Despite what the radiologist told us, Wade still thinks it might be a boy (sigh). Poor Wade, so outnumbered! Check out her beautiful profile. Can't wait to really see her (well, I can...let's get in a house first and wait til she grows a little more!)

You know you're pathetic when...

Look who's in preschool!

Okay...I know I'm cheesy, but I just had to take a picture of Janie on her first day of preschool! Here's the really pathetic thing...it's just me and 3 other girls doing it...it's not even a real preschool. I am really excited about it though. It's going to be so much fun, and Janie LOVES it! I can't believe she'll be in kindergarten next year. WEIRD!

This is a picture of Janie on her first field trip. This month we are learning about animals, and we got to go to a little farm, and the dairy. The girls loved it. She's a little nervous about the lamb...not that I blame her.

Here's a picture of the house for all of you who are interested (mom)! No, the garage will not look like that... our framer just needs to finish cutting the sheeting. Roofers come on Monday (how exciting)! Just wish it would go a little faster! See that truss lying in the dirt...one of the ones that came 8 inches too short! What a circus.

This is a picture of Janie's birthday cake. Not real fancy, but for any who may not know, Janie is OBSESSED with dogs. She prays for a dog every night. (Not real sure what we're gonna do about that one! :)
Janie turned 4 on Aug. 14. I can't believe it. We ate at her favorite place "IckDonalds". Don't ask me where she got the name...I love McDonalds. She did get a bike this year, and she loves it. She's crazy. I'm glad it's got training wheels...It slows her down! :) I'll have to take a picture of her with her bike.

I am feeling A LOT better. Yay. Maybe one of these days I'll take a picture of my baby bump and put it on the blog. Almost 17 weeks already...and showing much faster with this baby than the last two. :) What do you do?

Family Update!

Okay, I know it's been a while...but we have been seriously preoccupied! Let's begin where we left off. My birthday was the end of May. I got a bike! LOVE IT!

In June Addi turned 2. She got a bike too!
Janie is turning four on Thursday. Guess what she's getting? Yep, a bike! :)
But the real thing that has been eating up all my time is this...
We are building a house! It took us a long time to make a decision, but we finally bought a half acre lot here in Gunnison. I have been taking on the role of general contractor since Wade is too busy with work. I have never spent so much time on the phone trying to find subs to do the work. The framing is almost done and it's finally starting to look like a house. We are excited! :) I hope that we will be in by Christmas.

P.S. For any of you that don't know yet...we are expecting number 3. Hence the other reason I haven't updated...I have felt pretty miserable with this pregnancy. Mostly I just want to lay on the couch all day...and I am SO sick of crackers (well actually I'm sick of pretty much anything that I have eaten in the last 7 weeks)! I am about 13 weeks along and I'm hoping the sickness will be gone in a few weeks. We are very excited. Especially Janie. :) She always blesses "the baby in mom's tummy" when she says her prayers. It's the cutest thing.

Our Car(s)!

Our new car (new to us anyway)! We finally bought another car. We were so excited to be a two car family...

But nope! It just wasn't meant to be. A day and a half later Wade totalled our civic on I15 (It wasn't his fault). I am just so grateful his life was spared. Nothing like a car accident to make you realize the blessings of family, and how much you love them. I love you Wade. You are my best friend. Thank you for everything. You are the best!

My little brother Ben got married last Saturday. Yay. I am so happy for he and Erika. I decided to stay in Sandy this week and play with my family (all 10 kids came for the wedding). Wade has a medical convention in Salt Lake tomorrow and has to come back up anyway. Anywho, as soon as I am back to our own computer I will put up some pictures from the wedding. :)
