Thanks for the GREAT weekend! :)

What a fun Easter weekend we had! My sister Amy and her family came to play since they were off for Spring Break. They brought my mom along too, and it's always SO nice having mother dearest around! The kids had a great time playing together! Here are some of the highlights:
  • Hiking the "G" hill. Every time my sister comes her boys LOVE to hike the "G". It has become a tradition. Good ol' Wade get's to take them (although Mark got to help this time, or else there wouldn't be pictures. Thanks Mark.) :)

  • The Gunnison Easter Egg hunt at the park!

Wade telling the little girls what to do.

Janie on the run!

Bella getting some goods!

Addi getting some goods!

The girls with the Easter Bunny!

Look at all their loot!

  • Easter Baskets! When I was little my mom always made up a scavenger hunt for us to find our baskets. I have continued this tradition with my own kids. I love it. It's so much fun. There were some unexpected tears (Janie and Nathan were very jealous that the bigger kids got to the clues first)...but overall, I think the kids liked it.
Looking for clues

Reading a clue

Addi with her basket. She is a candy fiend! I'll be so glad when it's GONE!

Janie with her basket...always way more into the toys than the candy!

All of the kiddos LOVING their Easter baskets (which were in the basement - pretty fancy, eh?).

  • Lounging around. What better thing to do on vacation?
Grandma and Addi snoozin' on the couch!

Movie night!

This picture is to represent the hours of Mario Kart played! :) (Plus, I just think it's a hilarious picture!)

P.S. If there were any pictures of me, they would show me playing games with mom and Amy.

This little girl slept through most of the excitement of the weekend. She is getting a lot more smiley lately. I love it!

Here's another shot that I love. Ellia was fussing and Janie picked her up and put her on her chest. Put her right to sleep. She loves to be Ellia's little mom. I am constantly finding Janie trying to pick her up and talk to her. Don't Addi's eyes look BEAUtiful? I love my girls. They are a lot of work, but I wouldn't trade them for anything!
