This is Janie and Addi's favorite song. Everytime we get in the car they say, "I want 'Hope You Know.'" Here's our little songbird singing "Big Girls Don't Cry".

Sleeping is for the birds.
It's officially 1:47 a.m., and I should be sleeping...but I figure why even go to bed? Chances are I will either be trying to ignore the baby inside me who comes alive at night (Oh no!), getting up to pee, taking a couple of Tums to battle the heartburn, or attempting to roll from one side to the other (due to hip pain). I might as well see what's new with everyone elses blog...and well, maybe I'll just add a little to mine.
I'm officially 35 weeks along. I am not ready for her to come yet, and at the same time I can't wait to not be pregnant anymore. This baby is in my ribs! We have moved into our new house! Hooray. I love it! I promise to post pictures when our computer is hooked up (23rd of January). We did make it in in time to spend Christmas there...but I'm not sure if it was worth it or not! I was so stressed trying to get moved in right before Christmas...and let's be honest, we still have a bunch of stuff in the garage that needs to be put away.
The girls are doing great! Janie is loving preschool, dance, and bossing Addi around. She is so artsy and fun and LOVES her dad. Addi is such a funny little kid and always makes us smile. She is so naughty and sassy, but has such a tender little heart. If we get mad at her she starts crying and says, "Don't be mean to me!", and runs to her room. She is definitely a mommy's girl and I am nervous to see how she responds to the new baby.
Wade continues to work hard. I think he is a little relieved to not have to work on the house anymore...I am probably even more relieved! It's nice to have him around. In fact, at our house we do "Hip, Hip, Hoorays" (Thanks Ashley Landreth! :)) at Family Home Evening. If someone does something nice we give them a "hip hip hooray". This last Monday Janie said, "Let's give dad a hip hip hooray for coming home." We both just started laughing.
I love my girls. They are such a joy, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be a mother. I just love it. It's not always easy, and I have learned that I most definitely don't have the patience my own mother has (and she had 10 kids for crying in the night), but it is the biggest blessing in my life regardless.
Now that the house is done I am ready to start another book. Suggestions anyone?
