Because it's been a while...
WADE. In the last month he has been to the dentist twice to get 6 (yes, 6) cavities filled, worked 3 ER shifts within a weeks time, taken the scouts on an overnighter, began training for a half marathon, and most importantly - turned 30! Holy smokes babe...you/we are getting old. :)
ME: I am on one of my reading kicks. I decided to read all of the Harry Potter series again. Oh! SOOO good. Upon reading them again, I have to say that books 6 and 7 are by far my favorite. I didn't remember 7 being so good. It's amazing! I re-read The Queen's Thief series by Meghan Whalen Turner in anticipation of the new one: A Conspiracy of Kings. Not quite as good as the second and third books (which are maybe two of my favorite books of all time - who needs Edward when you can read about Eugenides?), but I still liked it a lot. She always leaves me wanting more. I love her. I enjoyed her books more the second time round. I could do an entire post just about her books. I did go to Sandy over spring break to see my little brother's new baby - little Jaycee Rae. She's adorable. It was wonderful to be home and spend time with my family.

JANIE: Once again the end of the dance year has arrived. She was so cute and fun to watch...
But guess what...she'd rather be doing this...
We signed her up to play city soccer. She loves it. She doesn't look too excited in this picture (in her defense, it was FREEZING that day). I didn't know what to expect with her first game, but she gave it her all and did awesome!
ADDI: I never would have pegged Addi to be such a girly girl, but she is. She loves everything pink, princess, dance, sparkles, dresses, dressing up... She is 100% girl, and I cannot wait to sign her up for dance next year. I gave her another hair cut. She looks so sassy and cute.

ELLIA: Still only has the 5 teeth, but so close to having more. She is already growing out of her milk allergy. Is finally weaned (for the most part :)) and is sleeping like a champ these days. I just gave her a haircut...i want to kick myself for doing it. She had these most darling curls...and I cut most of them off. SO sad. Gotta love those 5 crooked teeth!

Happy Birthday Wade, ya old man :) Ellia looks so big in that last picture, I am glad she is growing out of her milk allergy. What a relief! Addi's hair is soo cute! Janie looks so sleepy in that soccer picture, what a cutie. Can't believe how big she is. I am definitely in a reading rut. I will have to check out some of those books you listed!
I loved books 6 and 7 too of Harry Potter upon reading them again, especially 7! your girls are getting so big, I'm thinking about putting Reuben is Soccer this year.
Did you ever get the package I sent?
So, your brother had a baby? That's weird. You should post a pic. I would love to see her. Your cake looked yummy btw. I still can't believe you have 3 kids..... when did we grow up?
ok, one more thing... remember driving to crossroads to look at prom dresses our junior year (I think) and listening to that rosa parks song by outkast? I had a flashback yesterday. It was funny to think about.
