This little girl is a MONKEY
She climbs...and gets into everything.
She has an older sister who "helps" her do these naughty things.
A couple of months ago she fell from her little chair that is attached to our counter.
She sustained her first concussion.
She vomited 3 times and was pale as a ghost.
I was sick with worry.

A couple of months ago she fell from her little chair that is attached to our counter.

I was sick with worry.
She fell off of the bucket.
And sustained her second concussion.
She vomited 3 times.
Again.
I was a wreck.
Again.
Last week we had another close call. She climbed on the counter and happened to be holding my rolling pin (which Addi decided she wanted as well) and was pulled right off. I was in the laundry room when it happened. Again. I was SICK. I think it was a tender mercy that all was well. I don't think I could have handled another concussion.
Solution: She now wears this helmet.
We are trying to make sure she goes at least a month with no more head injuries.
It's funny how you go through the day and your little ones whine and drive you crazy and don't allow you to get anything done, but when something like this happens and they are lying pale and lethargic in your arms you wish they were clinging to you, whining, and driving you crazy.
**What a little sass you are becoming Bubbs. We love your funny little personality so much! I think you should know that both times you had concussions, Dad was able to give you priesthood blessings. Right after these blessings (on both occasions), you perked up, and didn't vomit again. I am grateful to have this power in my life and in your life as well. We love you little one!

So sad. I can't believe she has hit her head that much. I would be sick as well. She sure looks cute in her helmet. Good solution to the problem. I wish you guys lived closer so that Kelli could have invited Janie and Addi. She would have loved to have them at her party. Miss you guys!
Holy cow!!! I think I would keep a helmet on her too :) if they weren't so cute, it would probably be easier to get upset I'm sure. Too bad you have such dang cute girls!
So scary for you! I hope that she will give her poor head and poor mom a break for a while! at least it is a cute helmet!
