Spring Fever

The annual Easter basket scavenger hunt.
Held the day after Easter this year.
Good Times!

 Freezer Jam.  Darling little helpers.
Yes...Kate now wears the helmet.  I hate my tall barstools.

Girls with Grandma Great - loving her new chicks.

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy :)

And We All Go MARCHing On!

So grateful for a beautiful beginning of March.  Wade was able to take the girls on the annual father/daughter backpack trip.  We missed our friends the Williams' this year, but it was still a great success!  At least for me it was...I got to sit at home with only one child and a book on my lap.  :)  Wade says his favorite part was telling the kids stories about his childhood before bed.

SPRING BREAK
We decided to jump on the bandwagon and go to St. George for a couple of days over the girls' spring-break.  The first day we went to Snow Canyon to hike the "Lava Tubes".

NOT one of Wade's best ideas and admittedly not one of my best moments.  It was fine for the older girls, but it was literally a pain in the neck taking the two young ones in.  Jagged rocks, small openings, cliff drops.  I was NOT happy.

The Sand Dunes only a couple miles down the road were much safer.

Turns out this is my canyon.  Too bad it's closed from March until October due to turtles mating... I mean, REALLY??  Turtles Mating?  Am I the only one a little perturbed by all the regulations these days?  Ridiculous.

Nielsen's Frozen Custard.  Look at those happy, messy faces.  Need I say more?

Saturday Morning Easter Egg Hunt.  Thanks Leeflang family for letting us tag along.

Hee hee!  :)

A visit to this Lovely Place.

And a Really Tight Squeeze at Pioneer Park.  Girls loved this little crack in the wall.  Wade had to turn around.  A little too tight for his liking.

We got home just in time to celebrate our Birthday Boy!  The girls made him some homemade wrapping paper.

And I provided (well technically He provided it for himself - but it's the thought that counts right?) this SWEET new jacket.  As if he needs another jacket!  But I knew he'd be thrilled with the Marmot Zion. Turns out he was.
